.Type your paragraph here.2004 it all started tan NCI Fm In Winnipeg Manitoba. I had had my first Radio interview for my new album Kimberley Dawn "Im Going Home" I was so nervous about meeting the legendary Ray St Germain. He was also the program director at NCI Fm. During our discussions I had made a joke that I would love to have a desk at NCI Fm Radio. In June of 2004 Ray called and asked if I would like to do a voice check. I had no idea of what that entailed but was willing to give it a go. I had one week of training on the board and that is how my Radio career started. I worked at NCI for 5 years. Loving every minute of it. I was able to learn so much.
I hosted that Lunch time Cafe and it was an amazing success . I also hosted the Manitoba wide Friends on Friday for the 5 years. I was also honoured to be the voice for the Top 40 Countdown. It was in the second year when the show went right across Canada. It was a huge success to highlight Canadian Aboriginal music artists. It is now heard on Sirius Radio which is amazing.
2009 I joined the Crew at QX 104 Fm in Winnipeg Manitoba . I started off on weekends. Within the year I was the host for the At Work Cafe and had a full time position with the show from 10 to 2 PM everyday Monday to Friday. QX 104 had many perks of hosting many great events in Manitoba. February 25 2013 was my last day on air as I set out in the world to pursue my passion in country music!
